On 31 May 2025, the 2025 regulations came into force.

The 2025 Regulations have extended the gender pay gap reporting obligations to employers with 50 or more employees. This is down from the threshold of 150 or more employees applicable in June 2024.

Additionally, the timeline to publish the report has been shortened, and employers must now report on their gender pay gap within five months of their selected snapshot date in June. With this, the reporting deadline has moved from December to November.
