- The amendments have not yet entered into force but are expected to do so by the end of the year.
The Danish government is currently consulting on an exemption from the requirement to have a work permit for employees employed to work at large congresses, conferences etc, with at least 400 expected attendees.
The exemption will also require:
- Each work stay to last a maximum of ten working days.
- Each work stay to be followed by a stay outside Denmark of at least 60 days’ duration.
The amendments have not yet entered into force, but it is currently expected that they will take effect from 31 December 2025.
