New Jersey enacted a new pay transparency law. Effective June 1, 2025, S. 2310 requires New Jersey employers to disclose hourly wages or salaries, or the range of hourly wages or salaries, and a general description of benefits, in job postings. It also requires employers to make reasonable efforts to announce or make known internally any opportunities for promotion before making a promotion decision.
