The right to disconnect is an evolving employment law trend. It is increasingly becoming  a key focus of legislators across the globe  as part of a wider theme of increasing employee protections. Although the rise of home and hybrid working has brought significant benefits to many employees, it has also come with increased expectations of constant availability and connectivity. We can therefore expect to see continued momentum towards tighter regulation aimed at protecting work-life balance.
