End of the COVID-19 state of emergency from 30 June 2022

The President has announced that the Colombian COVID-19 state of emergency will not be extended and as such it will end on 30 June 2022. From 1 July 2022, the following measures will no longer apply:

• Partial withdrawals from the severance fund for employees whose income has reduced during the emergency;
• One day notice to allow employees to go on vacation (from 1 July 2022, the notice period will be 15 days);
• Flexible working arrangements; and
• Working from home as a temporary working alternative.
