The Colombian Government has extended the application deadline for incentives provided to companies that have created new formal job positions lasting at least six months, effective from May 2023.

This programme is designed to stimulate, generate, and safeguard employment opportunities, with a specific focus on young individuals, women, and men. The monthly incentive, calculated based on the current legal minimum monthly wage (MMLW), is structured as follows

  • For individuals aged 18 to 28, a 25% incentive amounts to COP 290,000 (approximately USD 73).
  • Women above the age of 28 receive a 15% incentive, equating to COP 74,000 (approximately USD 44).
  • Men aged 28 and above benefit from a 10% incentive, totalling COP 116,000 (approximately USD 29).

Companies interested in applying for the economic incentives granted by the Ministry of Labour, with the Empleo para la Vida strategy, will receive guidance for the application through this form.
