On 21 August 2025, the President of the Czech Republic signed a landmark act introducing uniform monthly reporting for employers. This digitisation initiative is designed to streamline administrative obligations by replacing the current system, where employers submit up to 25 different reports to various authorities each month, with a centralised reporting mechanism.

Under the new framework, employers will be able to submit all required data through a single, unified data sentence. The act sets out the roles of employers and state authorities, as well as the processes involved in monthly reporting. An accompanying act to support the system is anticipated between late September and early October.

The legislation will come into effect on 1 January 2026, with the full launch of the unified reporting system scheduled for 1 April 2026.
