The Council of Ministers issued a regulation on the amount of the minimum monthly wage and the amount of the minimum hourly rate for 2025. From 1 January 2025, employers will be obliged to pay full-time employees at least PLN4,666 per month. There will also be an increase in the minimum remuneration rate for contractors, who will now receive at least PLN30.50 per hour of services provided.
The rise in the minimum wage affects various employment-related benefits. Consequently, the following payments will also see an increase:
- Remuneration for downtime.
- Guaranteed remuneration.
- Compensation for unequal treatment.
- Compensation for mobbing or for terminating an employment contract due to mobbing.
The allowance for night work will also increase, as it is calculated at 20% of the hourly rate based on the new minimum wage.
