Bill on employer-provided accommodation sent for consultation

On 12 June 2024, a Bill was sent out for consultation. However, the Bill has not yet been introduced in the Danish Parliament. 

The objective of the Bill is to introduce certain minimum standards to the accommodation that employers provide for their employees. It is proposed that employers, among other things, ensure that the accommodation is not unhealthy to the employees. If adopted, the Danish Working Environment Authority will monitor compliance with the reuirements. 

If the Danish Parliament presents and passes this Bill, the Danish Act on Employer-Supplied Accommodation Standards for Employees will be effective from 1 July 2025.
