- The revised guidelines expand the scope of legal aid for employees in mediation with employers. For complex matters, such as those involving occupational accidents, the Ministry of Labour has long provided attorneys for employees in these mediation sessions.
- Wages and job transfer issues are now included in the scope of legal assistance during employer-employee mediation sessions.
- There is no longer a limit on subsidies for mediation matters involving workers belonging to Taiwan’s indigenous community, the disabled, or foreigners (including PRC, Hong Kong, and Macau nationals) married to Taiwan citizens.
