  • There are currently 15 statutory holidays under the Employment Ordinance, including Easter Monday, which has newly been added as a statutory holiday this year.
  • Good Friday will become a statutory holiday in 2028.
  • The day following Good Friday will become a statutory holiday in 2030.
  • By 2030, there will be 17 statutory holidays in total, aligning with the 17 general holidays (as defined under the General Holidays Ordinance, excluding Sundays).
