On February 11, 2026, the Labor and Social Welfare Committee of the Chamber of Deputies approved a bill proposing amendments to the Federal Labor Law to introduce enhanced wage transparency obligations.

Under the proposal, employers would be required to disclose wages and benefits in job vacancy postings. Employers would also be required to provide employees, upon request, with information on pay scales, salary ranges, and the criteria used to determine pay. The bill also establishes mechanisms to regulate access to salary transparency information. The proposal is expected to be reviewed by the Chamber of Deputies during 2026.
