New statutory minimum wage rate effective from 1 May 2026

• The statutory minimum wage rate will increase from HKD42.10 per hour to HKD43.10 per hour, effective from 1 May 2026.
• The monthly monetary cap on the requirement for employers to record the total number of hours worked by employees in a wage period will also increase from HKD17,200 per month to HKD17,600 per month, effective on the same day.
