On 17 June 2025, the government gazette published the new minimum daily wage rates, which took effect on 1 July 2025.
The minimum wage rates remain unchanged from the previous announcement, ranging from THB337 to THB400, depending on the province. Initially, the THB400 minimum wage applied only to four provinces and one district. Under the latest adjustments, Bangkok has now been added to the list of provinces eligible for the THB400 rate. Additionally, businesses operating in the Hotel and Entertainment Place sectors are now entitled to this rate nationwide, regardless of their location. In summary, the THB400 minimum wage has been extended to cover five provinces, one district, and two specific business sectors.
