On November 25, 2025, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs published updated jurisdictional thresholds for Section 503 of VEVRAA.

The thresholds, effective October 1, 2025, determine which contractors are covered by the laws. Specifically, Section 503 affirmative action plan requirements continue to apply to contractors and subcontractors with at least fifty employees and a single contract of USD50,000 or more. Under VEVRAA, affirmative action plan requirements now apply to contractors and subcontractors with at least fifty employees and a single contract of USD200,000 or more (increased from USD150,000).
