Raised statutory retirement and re-employment ages

  • From 1 July 2026, the statutory retirement age will be raised from 63 to 64 years old.
  • The re-employment age will also be raised from 68 to 69 years old.
  • These ceilings were last raised in 2022, and it is expected that the retirement age will be increased to 65 years old, and the re-employment age will be increased to 70 years old by 2030.
