Join us for an update of what is happening in the employment law landscape in the Nordics.

  • For Sweden, we will discuss new proposals on how parental leave days may be taken by parents and transferred to non-parents, the new minimum wage requirements for work permits, and a government initiative to increase the number of safety representatives.
  • Finland will discuss the new Government Programme from the employer’s perspective and recent case law concerning redundancies.
  • In Denmark, the Danish Ministry of Employment has sent out a draft bill for the amendment of the Danish Act on Working Time which introduces a new obligation for employers to implement a working time registration system.
  • In Norway, legislative changes are coming into effect that entail an expansion of employer’s liability within corporate level, and will also have importance for the formal requirements in cases of terminations due to company-related circumstances.
